  • @ladystacy It’s good, but it’s no Deep Space Nine ;-) #
  • @McKelvie if you were a real nerd, you’d know they’d have to have resurrected alt-Buffy too, so it wouldn’t have been any easier ;-) #
  • @McKelvie Fair points, both of ‘em. I think everyone would’ve liked S6 more if it was about Angry Buffy instead of Apathetic Buffy. #
  • @marcellerby I agree. If only so we don’t have to watch Xander become fat and useless. #
  • @Nevskyp Cheers! Liking the company I’m keeping, there ;-) #
  • Since I’m alone until Sunday and all my friends are doing stuff, I’ve decided to spend the next 3 days working solidly on one project. #
  • Reckon a first draft by Sunday isn’t outside the realms of possibility, anyway… #
  • Douglas Coupland fans, join me and @danielguntrip - Sep 1st, Foyles on Charing Cross Road: http://www.foyles.co.uk/events.asp - it’s free! #
  • @annawaits that being a Guardian Poll, I’m actually surprised Top Gear is beating The Wire. Voted Buffy, though ;-) #

  • Footage of “The Swan” on YHBW has made me glad that swine flu is going to kill 95% of all human life. #
  • Just watched a random ST: Voyager episode. Ended with a surprise party in the mess hall. Couldn’t have been more self-parody if it tried. #
  • @mooooooose Quite! As I recall, it was almost nothing *but* Doctor and Seven episodes, towards the end ;-) #
  • @McKelvie the correct answer is EARSHOT. #
  • @McKelvie Too right. Band Candy & The Zeppo also need a working knowledge of Buffy to work. Earshot has lotsa comedy - the Poison/Jello bit! #

  • @ladystacy Awesome, isn’t it? Apparently it’s doing really well, so we should get MI2 as well! #
  • @SwissPegg If you insist. #
  • @McKelvie Careful, Heroes ran out of X-Men plots to steal, he could’ve been scouting. If Heroes S4 is full of britpop in-jokes, we’ll know. #

  • @SarahDobbs Apparently, everyone in a group now has to prove they’re over 25 or Tescos won’t sell you alcohol (re: last saturday/@joeyisme) #
  • Holy screaming fuck @ Marvelman announcement. This is about the most exciting announcement that could possibly have come out of CCI. #
  • @KevinPocock Marvel have bought the rights to Marvelman, so presumably they can also reprint Alan Moore’s Miracleman stuff too. #
  • @SarahDobbs neither does Nikki. Which is why we got into a shouting match with the duty manager before taking our business to a Sainsburys. #

  • @Nevskyp JEALOUSY. UTTERY JEALOUSY. I just bought my copy like an hour ago and I saw nothing of the sort. #
  • @marcellerby It sure beats the hell out of that “people standing in the rain at a bus-stop” theme I’ve had for a while. #

  • Finally figured out my myspace details so that I could close my account. Will Twitter one day suffer the same indignity? #
  • @Joeyisme I like to confuse my parents out by dropping friend’s names into conversations to see if they can keep up. They can’t. #

  • I’m having trouble re-adjusting to a life where Robin Ince’s Book Club is more than an hour or two away from starting. #
  • Post-festival boredom should be alleviated by dinner & Chain Reaction recording. Robert Llewellyn, Dave Gorman and Frank Skinner! #
  • King’s Place is excellent, and the Chain Reaction recording was itself fantastic. 3 legendary comedians, 2 hours of material. All free! #
  • Also, for anyone keeping track, @DaveGorman credited his appearance at last year’s #Latitude festival for prompting his return to stand-up. #

  • Back from #Latitude. Awesome time. Further details will be available to those interested. #
  • That said, it cannot be overstated how awesome Passion Pit were, nor Robin Ince’s Book Club. I saw things I will never be able to un-see. #
