Let’s worry about Star Trek
31 07 2008Some of you will know that I’m regrettably a massive Star Trek nerd. In fact, I’m so massive a Trek nerd that I think J.J. Abrams’ remake/reboot of the franchise is going to be horrible even though the world at large knows almost nothing concrete about it! That’s nerd-thinking for you. To that end, I’ve written up my reasoning in an article on Den of Geek, in the true Den of Geek style - an annotated list. Take it all with a pinch of salt, this article is nothing if not self-aware.

Thanks for the mention in the micro this week, although you really should have popped me an email beforehand and I could have clarified lots of the details. Namely!
1) We did not take *any* inspiration from the tv show. Rather the opposite, I despise the bloody thing.
2) We did have a book deal, but it fell through. There’s a whole other story to that. :)
