Life Imitating Art

Phonogram is a comic coming out from Image in August, that appears to be based around the british music industry in some capacity. I am going to buy it solely because of one panel. In fact, it’s available at that link. Read panel 4 where the narrator says this, referring to his clothing:

A bootleg pop-icon t-shirt I picked up on a festival site because it was too damn cold.

I did this, at the Aston Court Festival a few years ago. I picked up a Spider-Man T-Shirt that’s lasted me since then, for a fiver because it was getting a bit colder. Anyone who can write an experience I identify with so closely is likely to find themselves on the receiving end of my money.
