Diary of an up and coming sociopath

Due to the heavy volume of ticket procuring traffic this morning, we ended up getting just Sunday tickets for V in Stafford, not least because the website architecture for buying tickets on just about every site makes it impossible to reserve 2 different types of tickets in one transaction. We just went for the Radiohead day as soon as I could get through to a site. As I said, all the good bands are on that day anyway. The main thing this has accomplished, though, is to make me concerned about the potential for getting Reading tickets. If the lineup means that it’s worth getting tickets, I might take the morning off so that I can sit at the PC and refresh the page.

Today my flickr account was upgraded free to Pro status as well. It’s heavily under-publicised that all Y! employees get a free upgrade to Flickr pro if they want it, but having found out the truth I made the upgrade. Not that I’m entirely sure what benefits a pro account offers, especially for someone who uses it as little as me. It’s the principle that counts, though.
