Procrastitastic
2 12 2003It’s revision time again, and that means one thing - procrastination. I’m not entirely sure what happenned to my plans for revision yesterday, but they got swallowed up somewhere between going to town and searching for popcorn that resembled Jesus.
Nikki and I went to town to get her McDonalds, and I intended to buy some comics and get Rachel a birthday present. The former went quite well, but as sod’s law might suggest, the birthday present I had intended to buy was, for the first time in months, not available, so I’ve had to kind of come up with an alternative, which is fair enough. While at the comic shop, Nikki bought me the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume 2 Hardcover as a christmas gift, so when I got back, I immediately put my individual copies up on eBay. No sense in waiting! No bids yet, but if anyone wants them, or some CDs, there’s an ebay link on the right. This is your first chance in months to own some genuine James Hunt merchandise, let me remind you. If you ask nicely, maybe I’ll sign them for you. Personalised signing, in fact! “I won this auction and all I got was this comic defaced by some weirdo off the internet” it’ll say.
Today has been quite sedate. I’ve been listening to a Radiohead Earl’s Court bootleg that’s been downloading for 2 days and finally finished last night. The quality is grating a little, but it’s otherwise good. Once I finish this entry, I’m going to have to start the revision process, because I’ve run out of excuses and I’m not going to be able to start cooking for another hour or so. Bugger.
Oh well. At least this term’s over tomorrow and I can resume to vegatating full time.
